Self-catering or catered options
The Plas Pencelli Lodge offer single storey, bunkhouse-style accommodation perfect for active breaks in the Brecon Beacons. Offering sole occupancy for organised groups, the Lodge benefits from a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, a boot room and separate drying room and opens on to a large playing field. There is a smaller internal dining area which comfortably seats 25, and additional marquee with dining for 50 and providing relaxation space or an ideal area to brief the group. A selection of outdoor games are available for use.
Accommodation comprises 3 en-suite single rooms ideal for group leaders and one of which is wheelchair accessible, 3 rooms which sleep 2 persons and 8 rooms which sleep 4 persons. Bedding and bed linen is provided. There are 2 separate shower rooms and a wheelchair accessible shower/cloak room.

With 17 bunk-house style bedrooms sleeping between 1 and 8 persons, the Plas Pencelli House and Beacons Suite are perfect for large groups looking for flexible accommodation with optional catering. The House benefits from a large dining area, perfect for shared meals and gatherings, outdoor seating areas and private playing field. A common room and staff sitting room provide additional spaces to unwind and relax. For active groups, there is a purpose-built boot room and drying room available for use.

Group Camping
Guests: Groups of 1-60 approx.
Our spacious camp field is perfectly suited for organised groups seeking flexibility and a peaceful, natural setting. With no designated pitches, guests are free to set up camp in a layout that suits their needs—ideal for schools, clubs, or community gatherings.
Onsite amenities include camp kitchen with drinking water and washing-up facilities, a modern shower block with hot showers and onsite parking suitable for minibuses. For a truly memorable evening, an adjacent field features a dedicated campfire area available by prior arrangement.

The centre is fully licensed and accesses the best venues across the Brecon Beacons National Park to provide climbing, canoeing, kayaking, caving, mountain walking and gorge walking.
I learnt that even if you find things tough you can push through. Perseverance has been a key skill on the trip and has helped me come out of my shell. I’ve really enjoyed it.
